Elemental

28/8/2010

Each spoonful of water
rattles
as it falls
through a frame
whose inside and out
are now the same;
colours meant to spell light
splashed
in unlikely places
signifying truths - warped -
but nonetheless meanings
to unready ears.

Once it has reached the extreme west
we state the sun rises in the orient.
Or should we have learnt by now
that the east is east
because our star has chosen
to kiss the earth from here?

With yet one
more
dawn.

Gracefully

28/8/2010

As the marching sound of pipes
approaches and summons,
we learn that fluids and love
are enough to feed the soul.

We were born through fluids and love.

Contrazioni

23/8/2010

all'interno del mio grembo sgonfio.

Paese Mio

13/8/2010

Cotognata, cime nel blu.In alto, sui picchi, croci e antenne.
Sotto, negli abissi, nei cuori,
domande.

E croci.

L'albicocco, ed altre storie

11/8/2010

ingoiato sterile e vano
mendicante del cuore che vaga
vacuo svuotato svanendo felice:
ho perso il mio centro! Giaccio

From a craft on the Caspian Sea

10/8/2010

She creaks
as I pace her bridge
inspecting her beams
dust in a thousand shades
from seaweed to white.
There's nothing really wrong with her:
we've sailed - yes!
across this uniquely closed horizon
and I found my infinity
the reason we were made.

And yet...when it all began
I lived for one spark:
however far, however wide
the bridges of Oceans
my liquid home

would take me home.
Where water embraces land
I know I might go:
all ships may meet
and all men share all stars.

One thing I have learnt
through the wisp of smoke
that blew my dreams away:

we toil and strive
for the best of boats

when really all that matters is the Sea.
