Martin Esposito - Original Watercolours
Portraying inner and outer journeys, Martin's attempts as a self-taught artist began in 2017. He is most comfortable with watercolour, often complemented with ink.
The intent is to capture a point in time where the subject is explored as it becomes - a film rather than a photograph. A central feature of his practice is location, immediacy and portability: paintings are usually completed in one session and rarely reworked in the studio.
Martin's output has been described as open-ended and sometimes pastoral, yet agnostic towards any specific thematic content.
